The question of whether humanity has a predilection toward the good is preceded by the question whether there exists an event that can be explained in no other way than by that moral disposition.  An event such as revolution. Kant says that this phenomenon  [of revolution]  can no longer be ignored in human history because it has revealed the existence in human nature of a disposition and a faculty toward the good, which until now no politics has ever discovered in the course of events. -FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE

Often I find that the bleak social, political, environmental forecasts take their tole on my soul if I let them inundate my consciousness. It is easy to neglect our own social, mental, and physical health if we do not have coping methods to ‘escape’ from these worries…..One way I love to combat this, especially during the winter months, is to attempt a wide variety of new skills.

So I thought I’d throw up a post for all of you who want to take on a new and different type of challenge, one that will frustrate you in the beginning, yet will surely provide a lasting sense of accomplishment once you have begun to understand the complex abyss that is the rubics cube….

PS: I’m sure there are better instructional sites than this, so if this piques your curiosity investigate youtube further.

Peace,
